Bellwood Civils

Bellwood Civils is a well-established and respected Civil Engineering Company with branches in Durban and Nottingham Road. The company is owned and managed by Alfie Messenger, a civil engineer with many years experience.

Alfie worked for Grinaker Construction (Pty) for more than a decade. He did contract work for Teichman Plant Hire & Civils for two years and then established his own company, Bellwood Civils in December 2002.

Bellwood Civils joined the Bellwood group of companies, which include Bellwood Stud and Bellwood Cottages.  These companies have been owned and operated by the Messenger family for three and a half decades.

Scope of Work

Bellwood Civils is a Civil Engineering Company, specialising in the construction of roadworks, services and small concrete works.

Our work area is in KwaZulu Natal and we offer civil works such as:
•   Bulk earthworks
•   Roads (both national and  provincial)
•   Services - including water,  sewer and stormwater
•   Small concrete works

Bellwood Civils offers a personalised service through direct communication with Alfie Messenger.
